At CCUK, our mission is to do ideas, relationships and results better than ANYONE else.
Our expectations of our people are equally ambitious; create unmissable moments for our listeners, transform our customers' businesses and deliver your personal best performance every year.
It's brave, but we have already proven it's possible by being accredited with a 2 Star Best Companies Award earlier this year.
Learning plays a huge part in our Personal Best process which is why we are very proud to continue our partnership with Nottingham Trent University as our six students move into second year of their Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship.
This gives our future leaders the unique chance to gain a prestigious qualification and fulfill their aspirations to become a leader later in their careers with us.
Despite the CBI stating that the Apprenticeship Levy is not yet working earlier this year, we believe it has been incredibly powerful in helping to grow our people.
Tom Williams, Branded Content Account Director, has just moved into the second year of his course:
"The Next Generation Leadership programme has already given me a completely new outlook on what it means to be a great leader. The first year was challenging and I know that as we immerse ourselves in year two, the topics will start to become more advanced and the workload will increase. However, we’re lucky to be working in an organisation that is open and supportive, giving us all of the tools and experiences that we need to ensure that we get the very most out of our extra learning. I’m increasingly finding ways to implement my learning in my work, helping to grow me both professionally and personally."
We know that balancing your role and studies can be challenging which is why earlier this year, we launched MeSpace, a wellbeing platform which encourages and enables our people to invest in their personal wellbeing, health and happiness, at work or at home.
Every Wednesday is #WellnessWednesday at Communicorp UK, helping our people with life, family, health, money and work each week.
So far, we have looked at the tools and techniques you can apply to change how you manage your workload, increase your focus to boost your performance and wellbeing.
As well as studying, our future leaders are continuing deliver the goals and objectives they have set for themselves, their listeners and their customers. That's why we also offer advice and resources to help everyone manage any feelings of stress so that we can continue to give our best and avoid burning out.
Each of our Next Generation Leaders are mentored by a member of the CCUK Executive team who guide and support them over the four year programme.
